Join Applerouth Tutoring to learn about the SAT and ACT, as well as up-to-the-minute updates on the test administrations. Come learn about the main differences between the two tests, how to decide which one is better for your child, when to take them, how much to prepare for them, and more. Hear about how your child’s strengths can favor one test or the other. Learn about what college admissions officers expect from students and what you need to plan for.

Atlanta Braves HBCU Night

To honor the contributions of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), the Atlanta Braves will host their annual HBCU Night presented by Truist on Friday, August 27 as the team takes on the San Francisco Giants.

GEAR UP Georgia has TWO Tickets to give away to one lucky GEAR UP student. If you are interested in attending, please complete the inquiry form by Wednesday, August 25th. The winner of the two tickets will be announced via GEAR UP Georgia social media on Wednesday evening.

Fans are invited to arrive early to enjoy special performances from the Atlanta Braves Heavy Hitters and the Morehouse College drumline in front of the Truist Community Corner at 6:00 p.m. 17 members of the Braves Heavy Hitter team are HBCU alumni from throughout the southeast. House of Funk, the Morehouse College drumline will perform following the Heavy Hitters. Atlanta Braves HBCU Careers on-Deck Panel

The Atlanta Braves will host their second annual virtual panel discussion of Careers On-Deck on August 25th at 12:30 PM. We welcome current students and recent graduates to learn about the business of sport and entertainment, growth of baseball for diverse ballplayers, and more, from HBCU graduates working in their respective fields.

Applerouth Mock SAT (DeKalb)

We’re excited to have you join our online practice SAT. This test will be taken using an electronic copy of the test booklet and a paper answer sheet that you create. Please see your instructions to prepare for test day below.

Prep your answer sheet: Before the morning of the practice test, prepare your own answer sheet by making a replica on a piece of paper. You will use these answers at the end of the test to score and get immediate results.

Coca-Cola Scholars Application Open

The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to graduating high school seniors. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities. With the 33rd class in 2021, the Foundation has provided over 6,450 Coca-Cola Scholars with more than $75 million in educational support. 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected each year to receive this $20,000 scholarship.
